Fabienne's Christmas Edit 2025

Fabiennes Christmas Edit 2025
The winter glow recipes & biohacks that make my December more beautiful.

December always has two sides for me: it is loud and quiet, warm and cold, demanding and comforting. During this time, big resolutions don't help me, but small routines that keep me stable do: functional drinks that regulate my body, products that I reliably use every winter, and decisions that relieve my skin, gut, and nervous system.

In this year's Christmas Edit, I share exactly these rituals with you – not as instructions, but as a collection of things that truly make my winter easier. From inner care to castor oil rituals, ski essentials, gift ideas, and details that make the home calmer and cleaner.

Winter Skin Care from Within

Winter challenges skin, gut, and energy more than any other season. For me, care therefore begins internally with structure-building nutrients and rituals that keep me stable.

Colladerm – Structure for Winter Skin

Collagen + Vitamin C are essential for me during the cold season. They support elasticity, structure, and resilience when the skin reacts and becomes drier.

Skincare Capsules – Winter Support from Within

With Vitamin A, E, B5, Zinc, Biotin, as well as Fo-Ti, Chlorella, and Frankincense, they ideally support regeneration, structure, and cell renewal when cold and heating air stress the skin.

Collagestics – Gentle Regulation in Winter

Stress, sweets, alcohol, and irregular times often put extra strain on digestion in December. Collagestics brings balance back for me without overwhelming the body.

Vitamin D3 + K2 – Indispensable in Winter

Light is scarce. Vitamin D is essential for immune function, hormone balance, and mood. A daily evening ritual that I never skip.

Three Drinks That Make My Winter Easier

For me, warm drinks are functional rituals. Warmth regulates, soothes, and supports digestion & the nervous system. I make these three recipes constantly in December.

1. Gingerbread Collagen Latte

Warming, spicy, stabilizing.

Ingredients:

  • Oat drink or espresso
  • 1 scoop Colladerm
  • Cinnamon, clove, cardamom, ginger
  • Optional: honey

2. Winter Matcha with Vitamin D

Gentle energy and a clear mind.

Ingredients:

3. Hot Ginger Gut Reset

For balance and regulation.

Ingredients:

Golden Castor Oil – My Winter All-Rounder

Castor Oil is the most versatile winter ritual for me: it soothes, relaxes, and supports digestion, skin, and the nervous system.

How I Use Golden Castor Oil in Winter

  • Abdomen – digestive comfort
  • Back / Solar Plexus – nervous system
  • Jaw – tension & clenching
  • Dry areas – rapid regeneration
  • Feet – warmth & grounding

Castor Oil Pack – Evening Ritual

Apply Golden Castor Oil → wrap with a cotton or bamboo cloth → let warmth work for 20 minutes. A simple ritual that makes winter noticeably softer.

Small Decisions That Transform Winter

For me, winter is all about micro-optimizations that require little effort but have a daily impact.

Beeswax Candles Instead of Paraffin

Beeswax burns cleanly and without harmful substances, perfect for long winter evenings.

Merino Instead of Synthetic (Ski & Everyday)

Temperature-regulating, antibacterial, skin-friendly – merino is my base for ski holidays and on very cold days. Instead of plastic underwear or polyester layers, I consistently opt for merino baselayers.

One brand I repeatedly turn to is Odlo: functional, durable, and skin-friendly – exactly what I want directly on my skin.

Mineral Sunscreen in the Snow

In snow and at altitude, UV radiation reflects particularly strongly, even on cold days. That's why I only use mineral sunscreen with zinc oxide: photostable, immediately effective, and barrier-friendly.

Currently, my favorite is huut's Sun Fluid SPF 50+, because it feels light, doesn't leave a white cast, and is well-tolerated by sensitive winter skin.

Boiron HomeoTravel Kit

Travel first aid kit for skiing, winter trips, and stressful December days – small, quiet, effective.

Home & Winter Rituals

For me, winter isn't a period of big changes, but of small, consistent decisions.

Warmth Instead of Cold

Warm drinks soothe the nervous system more effectively than cold snacks.

Fresh Air Instead of Perfectionism

15 minutes outdoors in winter are more effective than 60 minutes at the gym.

Silence Instead of Constant Stimulation

Short breaks between appointments are often the best nervous system tool.

Closing thought

December challenges us and at the same time gives us space to feel ourselves. Perhaps in this edit you will find a ritual, a cup of warmth, or a decision that does you good.
